We are pleased to introduce Clive, who has recently joined the Valerie Manor team as the Jalopy Driver. He has already assisted several residents get to their appointments and is looking to offer various excursions in the near future.
Here is Clive’s own introduction.
“Hi my name is Clive and I am really looking forward to taking up the position of minibus driver.
I have always enjoyed driving and in fact I drove articulated lorries all over the UK back in the 70’s. For the last twenty years I have been employed as a plumber and gas engineer at Lancing College on the maintenance team, a very interesting place to work. Did you know the college has the largest school chapel in the world and is open to the public most days between 10 am and 4pm. Perhaps we could visit it one day!
In case you are not aware, I am Alison’s (Deputy Manager) husband. We have been very happily married for nearly 17 years.
We have two fabulous dogs, a Doberman bitch called Delia and Max who is three quarter French hound and a quarter Doberman who knows you may meet them one day.
I am also a keen horseman and have owned a cob cross thoroughbred for 21 years named Mr Jed. Being 25 now he is semi retired but we still like to hack over the downs when the weather allows?
I am really looking forward to working for you all”.
