1st Henfield Girl Guides Remembrance Day

What a special evening we had with the 1st Henfield Girl Guides. Most of our residents joined us in the conservatory for a lovely Remembrance Day Service which was prepared and presented by the Girl Guides. One of our residents brought his medals out for the girls to wear and share which generated a lot of conversation between everyone. Following the service we all had refreshments together and enjoyed each others company during the evening.

We were privileged to be able to host two of the Guides making their promise here at Valerie Manor – we would also like to thank the Guides for planting some bulbs and presenting them to us at the end of the evening for our residents to care for until the Spring.

Once again, thank you for making this a special and memorable evening for our residents at Valerie Manor.
