For those who don’t know, the Jalopy used to belong to my lovely Nanna Doreen who had a stroke and was unfortunately wheelchair bound. The Jalopy allowed us to take Nan out and about on trips – her favourite being Seaford Seafront to enjoy an ice cream! It was Nan who named the vehicle the Jalopy and since then the name has stayed!
I am pleased to say that now we have the nicer weather we have weekly outings planned with Mike and a member of the care team. Some have already been enjoyed as you can see from the photos and we look forward to exploring new places with our residents.
