St Peters Church Afternoon Tea Party

Part of the recent discussions with Reverend Stonham included the regular Tea Party at the Gladys Bevan hall just opposite the church in Upper Beeding, which hadn’t been held for a while.

Zoe then contacted the organiser who said that unfortunately due to low numbers they had decided to take a break for a while but was extremely happy to start it up for us as this may encourage others in the community to attend as well.

Lee our Jalopy driver had to make two trips it was so popular and as you can see from the photos it was a very enjoyable afternoon – Two family members who came to visit their Mother at Valerie Manor even came to the event which we absolutely loved!!

Thank you to the staff and the volunteers who took the trouble to make cakes and teas etc.
