The wonderful team at 3B’s
We have for many years had a close association with the the 3B’s (Beeding, Bramber & Botolphs) and this has never been more important than during this difficult time.
Below is the poster we display within Valerie Manor which introduces some of the team and the support they can offer.
The Parish of Beeding and Bramber with Botolphs
The clergy of this parish visit Valerie Manor regularly and are available to help support the residents and staff. We are happy to listen and chat with those of any faith or of none and can offer pastoral support and prayer for a loved one who is nearing the end of their life.
Along with a Lay Minister of Communion we visit residents to distribute Holy Communion, sometimes called ‘The Eucharist’, ‘The Mass’ and ‘The Last Supper’. On the last Wednesday of the month, at around 11:30am, there is a communal service of Holy Communion led by either Revd Emma or Revd Shirley. The Church of England is a broad church and we welcome Christians of any denomination to Holy Communion.
We also visit with members of our church for Christmas and Easter services and some residents join us for worship at 10am on Sundays at St Peter’s, Upper Beeding. Some join us too for our Tea Party on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 2.30pm in the Gladys Bevan Hall in Church Lane.
If there is something, we can help you with, please do contact us directly or through the staff at Valerie Manor.
