All meals are prepared in our own kitchen with care and attention by our fully qualified Chef, or by designated kitchen staff with a level II award in food safety and catering. Meals are served in the friendly comfort of our dining room; alternatively residents may enjoy their meals in other communal areas including the conservatory or gardens, or in the comfort of their own bedroom. Special arrangements may also be made in advance for guests to dine with residents.
Great care is taken to provide a well-balanced, varied and interesting menu that is constantly under review by our residents. Special diets can also be catered for. View samples of our menus plus further information.
We are committed to using the best of locally grown and sourced produce and supporting local suppliers where possible. We also enjoy fresh herbs, fruit & vegetables from our own gardens and from the raised planters that our residents often become involved in planting and picking.
We are also proud to have achieved a 5 star rating as part of the Food Standards Agency National Food Hygiene Rating Scheme at our latest inspection in September 2016. View our rating on their website.
