Frequent visitors to Valerie Manor will know that Linda and I are running the Brighton Marathon again this year. Our training started in January and has been going well so far! We have both recently completed a 20 mile run and will continue to train around this distance for the next couple of weeks before ‘tapering’ down before the marathon.
One of the ‘joys’ of training is that you need to ensure you ‘load’ with carbs around this time and as pasta is in my top 3 favorite foods, this part really isn’t a problem!
We are again raising vital funds for our friends and colleagues at St Barnabas House in Worthing, and would ask you to consider making a donation for our efforts on the day.
